GuHu Media
The GuHu Media Society is a student run organization based out of the University of Guelph-Humber. The organization offers opportunities outside classes and internships for students to create their own content. Each division will work on dedicated projects, but also those that encourage collaboration across media. GuHu Media's main objective is "to develop practical media skills in all areas through workshops, tutorials, events and projects."〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=About )〕 The society is divided into three specialized fields (or divisions) within the span of media. The divisions are radio, television and public relations/digital arts. ==Background== "GuHu" is an acronym for Guelph-Humber. GuHu Media was started in January, 2010. It originally covered four divisions (radio, television, public relations and digital arts) but was compressed to three at the beginning of fall semester of 2012. The groups enable individuals to gain knowledge and practical experience in their desired area of emphasis while creating professional relationships.
